American Heritage Girls
American Heritage Girls is for girls in Kindergarten-12th Grade. The mission of AHG is building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG helps girls acquire skills that will assist them in all areas of life. These skills may include how to use a computer, sew on a button, protect themselves, learn about their ancestors or what it takes to be an astronaut.
AHG meets the first 3 Tuesdays of the month (September – May) @ 6-7:30 pm
We focus on:
FAITH: Girls learn to build Godly character
SERVICE: We provide many opportunities to serve in the community, such as Christmas Caroling in the nursing home, placing Christmas wreaths on Veteran’s graves with Wreaths Across America, and filling Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
FUN: Girls earn badges from a handbook of 80 different choices and are encouraged to build friendships and have fun at our once-a-month “fun night” with games and food.
Cost ranges from $84-$110 for the first year, which includes uniform, handbook, dues, and registration. Cost will be lower in subsequent years. Scholarship opportunities may be available for those in need.
