Wreaths Across America

As of this writing the Wreaths Across America campaign was only less than 700 to go to cover the entire WV National Cemetery and our local chapter of AHG needs about 150 more to reach their goal. There are 5,200+ graves at the cemetery and the deadline is Monday, December 2nd, but sometimes they take on-line orders after that. So, get online and place your order now. We don’t want any soldier’s grave to be without a wreath. Wreaths are $15 each and $5 of each wreath is returned to our Troop for the work we do in helping Wreaths Across American.

On December 14th, we will join others, many of whom are family members of those buried in the WV National Cemetery, as each branch of the military is honored.

Operation Christmas Child

The amazing journey of a shoebox gift begins with you and results in evangelism, discipleship and multiplication. We packed 35 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and they are on their way to bring joy to children throughout the world. Thank you each and everyone one who took the time to pack a shoebox for this great mission.

Myanmar Meds Mission Trip 2020

Please contact Rev. Bill Walker as soon as possible at billwalkeremc@gmail.com or 706-255-3450 for more information about joining the Myanmar Medical Evangelistic Dental Surgical 2020 team.

The trip will depart January 31, 2020 and return on February 11, 2020. Worship Service in Yangon MEDS and Worship Service in Tahan. Trip cost is $4,000 and valid passport through August 11, 2020 required.

Is the Lord calling you to help sponsor someone from the US or Asia Pacific EMC? The Myanmar MEDS 2020 team is also praying for as many as 7 medical
professional from the Philippines to join them in Tahan. The travel cost for each of them is $1,500. If you cannot go, maybe you can help send someone who can.

Hope 61 Offering Report

Sunday, August 11th was chosen by the EMW to bring attention to the fight against human trafficking. The EMW asked for a special offering to help them in this fight. As of this report we are excited to announce that $344.00 has been given in support of HOPE 61. Thank you for giving.

Fill Your Cup

Fill Your Cup is a mini-event that feels like a cozy gathering at your favorite coffee shop. It’s a cafe-themed experience where women easily connect with each other and with God. This is an event where women will share laughter, stories from their own lives, and a meaningful devotional experience. Psalm 23 :5 says that when we’re in God’s presence, our cup overflows with blessings. Through Fill Your Cup, women will experience this truth and discover that when we’re filled with God’s love, we can’t help but overflow and share that love with others!

I would love to see you there! It will be held at Victory EMC on November 9, 2019 starting at 10am and we will finish up around noon! We will be serving light refreshments and tons of God-filled fellowship! I hope to see you there! Let me know if you have any questions and if you plan on coming!
