Fruit of the Spirit Tree

The Lord showed me this the other day and I wanted to share it with you.

LOVE

JOY

PEACE

PATIENCE

KINDNESS

GOODNESS

FAITHFULNESS

GENTLENESS

SELF-CONTROL

In this Christmas season, when everyone is putting up trees and decorations, I wonder what others see when they look at us. Does love shine like the star at the top of the tree so everyone around us is drawn by that love? Does our joy for God sparkle and people want what we have? Does peace hang steady in our lives in the midst of storms? Can you be still and know that He is God and allow patience to work in your life? Does kindness wrap around every word and action? When was the last time we told someone about God’s goodness to us? Will we be faithful and dependable to our word ? Does gentleness shine like the tinsel on the tree? In this season of hustle and bustle can we show self control and show others its more about His Presence than Presents? Oh my dear friend, we all have a Fruit of the Spirit Tree that others see on a daily basis. Let’s allow the Living Water to fill us to overflowing so we can pour out into others and shine for Him this Christmas season.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22 NLT
