Greetings! October and those beautiful fall colors seemed to go to fast. We have used our time together the last few months together to study, in depth, each Book of Romans. Paul explained in detail that Christ was for all people, Jew or Greek, by “Grace“.
“Grace” is a word we don’t use or hear often enough in home, church or society. We are built and shaped in a way that makes us believe we should earn it. We can’t. Grace is God’s favor, it’s prevenient, and cannot be earned. It can, however, be accepted. Thank You Jesus!
We are moving in to 1 Corinthians and Paul opens this Book with great faith, thanks, encouragement and strength. From there he begins to address spiritual problems within the body. This is where the scripture, more than ever, becomes a double-edged sword. It is an opportunity for the scriptures to prune some things in our lives and allow new growth to begin. I look forward to our journey together through 1 Corinthians.
